Marketing Internship for a Social Networking Internet Start-up

Duration: Full time for 3 months with the possibility of full time employment at end

Reporting to the Business Development director and the Marketing Director, the Marketing Intern will work to support Webjam’s marketing activities. A fun, exciting and challenging role that covers various areas from PR to Google analytics, with opportunities to be creative, use your initiative and be proactive.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Drafting and researching newsletters and press releases

 

  • Monitoring Google Ad Word campaigns

 

  • Analysing Webjam’s online statistics and helping to prepare slides for monthly board meeting

 

  • Preparation for Webjam exhibitions at major conferences

 

  • Participate in brainstorming ideas for marketing campaigns

 

  • Researching and applying for grants

 

  • Helping with SEM and SEO for Webjam Partners

 

  • General: research, webjam demo building, posting information on webjam, updating media lists, helping with admin tasks

 

Must have strong analytical skills.
