Jobs being advertised

May 12, 2009

Couple of interesting ads going around at the moment: Procter and Gamble are advertising their graduate vacancies and a boarding school in Sussex – Brambletye – are looking for a director of Music.

Also the Careers group are looking for some-one to develop their careers consultancy service, C2. None of them are mainstream PhD jobs – but they may be of interest to someone out there…..

The SSWEP ( No, I hadn’t heard of it either) are offering some placements exclusively for PhD students.  Organisations involved include local authorities, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises.

These are paid placement  for 8 weeks during the summer.

The method of application is to register on the website

www.studentplacements.org.uk

And apply directly to the opportunities they find there.
