* Specific degrees, by talking to admissions staff, course organisers and medical students
* The major differences between the courses offered
* How to fund your medical degree
* Writing a successful application form and support statement
* The various entrance exams schools use.

The day will consist of:
* Presentations – from representatives of key medical schools
* Networking Session – with admission tutors and staff
* Medical Student panel – to which you can ask questions on what it is like to do an accelerated medical degree.

Confirmed attendees include:
Cambridge, King’s College London, Leicester, Nottingham, Swansea, Oxford, Queen Mary, Keele and Imperial.

There is also a free book on entry to medical school available at the Careers Service.

The Careers Service is organising a week focusing on Assessment Centres from 2 – 6 February.

We have a number of companies coming in to run talks & group exercises, giving students a real chance to get to understand what an assessment day consists of, what will be expected of them, how to impress the recruiters and the chance to practice the interactive group exercises.

Full details of the week and a downloadable brochure can be found on the careers website at: www.kcl.ac.uk/careers/events then select Assessment Centre Week  from the left menu.
