King’s Business Internship

King’s Business is offering an internship for PhD students and post-doctoral researchers at the College. The part-time internship offers the opportunity to gain experience of research commercialisation by working alongside the Commercial Development team.   

The internship is normally offered on a voluntary one day per week basis over three months. The flexible programme can be adapted to fit your normal commitments and suit your individual business interests.

Online Course Booking System

We are introducing a new online system for booking face-to-face courses and monitoring the development of your own skills training.

The system will be available by the middle of next week and we are looking for a small number of postgraduate volunteers to try out the new system and see how easy it is to use.

We expect this will take place at the Franklin Wilkins Building @ Waterloo on Thursday 2 October @ 14:00. We expect to finish some time between 15:00 and 16:00.

Kindly note that volunteers wll be paid £10 for their time.

Good Writing

Help is at hand for all postgraduate research students who want to develop their writing skills.

Biographer, novelist and non-fiction writer Jennifer Potter joins the Graduate School on two days a week (usually Mondays and Tuesdays) as our Royal Literary Fund Fellow, offering confidential one-to-one sessions to discuss students’ work. The scheme is a gift from the RLF to King’s, designed to foster good writing practice.
