The awards recognise and reward excellence and innovation in postgraduate supervision. Last year the awards attracted nearly 120 nominations, with seven supervisors winning £1,000 each.

For 2008, the nomination and selection procedures have been revised. Supervisors can now be nominated by their Schools, Departments or by their Heads of Graduate Studies, as well as by their students. Schools will shortlist nominees and a Graduate School selection panel will make one award per School. The successful candidates are required to make a contribution to the dissemination of their good practice during the year.

You can get the nomination form by clicking here.
